Over the last few years, numerical prediction and observational products from ground- and satellite platforms have become prominent at several research and operational weather centres due to growing interest from diverse stakeholders, such as solar energy plant managers, health professionals, aviation and policy makers.
The International Network to Encourage the Use of Monitoring and Forecasting Dust Products (inDust) is the COST Action CA16202. The overall objective of inDust is to establish a network involving research institutions, service providers and potential end users of information on airborne dust. inDust searches to coordinate and harmonise the process of transferring dust observation and prediction data to users as well as to assist the diverse socio-economic sectors affected by the presence of high concentrations of airborne mineral dust.


The present survey will help us to better understand your needs and to can produce tailored services relevant for you. Please, take a few minutes to answer the following questions on how you use dust information and the services you would like to see developed.
At inDust we take your privacy very seriously. The first question of the survey aims at registering your consent (based on article 6.1.a of the GDPR) regarding personal data usage on the COST Action CA16202 website and other communications tools or publications for communication purposes.
inDust will only hold your name, e-mail, position, institution and country. We will only use this information for internal use (e.g. analysis of the survey results) or to contact you with information about relevant results or events of your interest. We won’t share it with third parties.
